Welcome to Berg Backstops (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website www.bergbackstops.com, registering for lessons, camps, or clinics, or interacting with any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before participating.
1. General Information
Berg Backstops is a catching development and leadership training business based in Nashville, Tennessee, operated by Berg Backstops LLC. Our mission is to provide skill-based instruction, leadership training, and player development opportunities for athletes of all ages.
By using this website or registering for a Berg Backstops event, you agree to these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
2. Participation & Assumption of Risk
Participation in baseball training, camps, or clinics involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage. By registering for or attending any Berg Backstops event, you acknowledge and assume all associated risks.
All participants (or their parent/guardian if under 18) must complete a Liability Waiver and Release Form before participating. Failure to do so may result in removal from the session without refund.
3. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
All payments for lessons, clinics, or camps must be completed prior to participation.
Refunds: Refunds will only be issued in cases of event cancellation by Berg Backstops or documented medical emergencies.
Cancellations: Participants who withdraw less than 48 hours before a scheduled session are not guaranteed a refund or credit.
Weather: In the event of inclement weather or facility issues, Berg Backstops reserves the right to reschedule sessions or issue credits for future training dates.
4. Conduct & Expectations
We expect all players, parents, and spectators to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and integrity. Any behavior deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive may result in removal from the event without refund.
We are committed to creating a positive learning environment that reflects the values of leadership, accountability, and character development.
5. Media Release
By attending any Berg Backstops session or event, participants and parents grant permission for photos, videos, and other media captured during activities to be used by Berg Backstops for promotional, educational, or social media purposes without additional consent or compensation.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and training materials — is the property of Berg Backstops LLC and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Berg Backstops LLC and its staff, coaches, and affiliates are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in our programs or from the use of this website.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with any service or material provided is to discontinue use or participation.
8. Privacy Policy
